Even A 'Kindergart' Knows The Best Performing Prez Against Corruption Is Mahama

Lawyer Chris Ackumey has hailed the leadership qualities of President John Dramani Mahama, claiming his administration is the best combatant of corruption.

According to the legal practitioner, President Mahama's commitment to the fight against corruptible practices is unrivalled.

Speaking on Radio Gold's 'Alhaji and Alhaji' programme, he noted that unlike the erstwhile Kufour government which would "cover up" corruption, the Mahama administration is ready to nip it in the bud.

He stressed that corruption-related matters are on the ascendancy because of the preparedness of the President and the government to bring them to the forefront of the media.

“During the regime of J.D Mahama, the issue of corruption has reached its highest apogee because [1] he’s doing everything possible to encourage the press to expose corruption. He’s doing everything possible to expose corruption. If the exposure had not been there, how would we know that there’s corruption? If you compare to the other regime, the NPP regime where there was a complete cover up; how would people know that there was corruption?”

Comparing the regimes of Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour, the late President John Evans Atta Mills and the current Mahama government, Lawyer Chris Ackumey minced no words as he insisted that "if you ask even a Kindergarten boy, out of these three Presidents, who has done better to fight corruption; even the Kindergarten boy will tell you that the best performer is President J.D Mahama.”
