Samias Bribery Claims Is Useless Kabila

Former CPP Youth Organiser, James Kwabena Bomfeh has described Samia Nkrumah’s bribery allegation as ‘Useless’ and untrue.

Samia Nkrumah accused the newly-elected flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party, Mr Ivor Greenstreet, of bribing delegates with GHS200 and GHS500 to vote for him at Saturday’s presidential primaries.

She bemoaned that - “I’m obviously not happy with the results, but I accept them. The fact of the matter is that every delegate was paid GHc200 and GHc500 actually, amongst many other things. So, it was down to money and of course we cannot be happy about that but we accept the results, and we move on.”

But her claims has been rubbished by James Kwabena Bomfeh also known as Kabila in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'

Kabila who has been tipped to be the spokesperson for Ivor maintained that, the newly elected CPP flagbearer – “Never shared money to the delegates to vote for him.”

He noted that, the ideal candidate to lead the CPP for the 2016 poll is Ivor Kobina Greenstreet – “He campaigned and the electorates accepted him because they knew what he can do.”

He told host Kwasi Aboagye that – the ‘Nkrumahist’ community has had a divided front for a long time, a problem he said had rendered it unattractive to the electorate. He opined that a Greenstreet victory would trigger for the oneness that the party needs.
