London Court Chases Ex-Wife Of Pastor Sunshine Over Missing Daughter

The Family Court in London appears not to be making any headway since it issued an order for Daphne Serwaa Ama Boadu, ex-wife of Rev Sunshine Adamu Adam, and Star Adam, the only child from the broken marriage, to be produced by the London’s Department of Works and Persons.

The order was issued on October 7, 2015, following a complaint filed by the head pastor of Accra based Crystal Fire Ministries who has been making desperate attempts for over five years to have access to the 6-year old girl he fathered, but has never set eyes on before.

That was after an order by an Accra High Court, which supervised the dissolution of the marriage, granting Rev Sunshine “reasonable access” to the child had not been disrespected by Daphne and her family.

Daphne, a Ghanaian-born British citizen, said to be a niece of Archbishop Duncan William, is said to have been changing locations, allegedly to prevent his ex-husband from knowing his whereabouts and to have access to his daughter.

“The Court orders and directs you DWP(Department of Works and Person) to give all the information you have about where the child and adult are now, or where they were when you last knew and where they are likey to be now,” the court document dated October 7, 2015 states.

The court further warned the DWP: “The court has ordered you to give information and you must give it at once. If you do not, you may in comtempt and you may be fined, sent to prison or detained.”

But the over four-month search, in an addition to the work of private investigators, has not yielded any positive outcome for the man of God on his desperate journey in search of his ‘missing’ daughter.

Information available to the New Statesman indicates that what was supposed to be a ‘divinely orchestrated marriage’, with the involvement of his renowned Spiritual Fathers Archbishop Duncan William and Rev Eastwood Anaba, has turned out to be over five years of “emotional torture” for Rev Sunshine.

Rev Sunshine, who was converted from Islam to Christianity against the wishes of his father, felt he was on his way to fulfilling the desire of enjoying a blessed marriage when he was joined to the Ghanian born and British citizen in a holy matrimony on January 30, 2010 by Rev Eastwood Anaba. But that was not the case.

And his troubles even grew worse after the marriage was eventually dissolved by a High Court in Accra, presided over by Justice Doris Bempong, on March 10, 2014 “on the grounds that the marriage has broken down beyond reconciliation.” Even though the court ordered that he should be given “reasonable access” to his only child from the marriage, he is yet to see for the first time the product of a pregnancy he took care of.

The entire troubles of the man of God started after his then wife got pregnant and was moved to London for the sake of proper care for mother and child. He has since been frustrated in all efforts to get the contact of his only daughter, who has allegedly been moved to ‘a secret location’ in London.

Family sources suspect that some “powerful hands with unlimited access to the presidency”are behind the move to give Pastor Sunshine “this emotional torture.”

“Why is Archbishop Duncan William’s family doing everything possible to prevent Pastor Sunshine from seeing the product of a pregnancy he took care of? Is there something fishy being covered? Why has Pastor Eastwood Anaba, who blessed the marriage, and is aware of the entire problem, failed to intervene, even though he is close to the motherof Daphene Serwa Boadu and the Archbishop? Why did it even take a legal action against the UK Embassy in Ghana for Pastor Sunshine to get a visa when he wanted to visit London to attend a court sitting?”a worried family member has been wondering.
