The Accra Regional Police Command has declared a GH¢20,000 reward for any person who offers credible information that would lead to the arrest of the murderers of Ama Kyerewah.

The deceased was found lifeless in her apartment on February 3 at Klagon, a suburb of Accra.

Suspicions are that she was strangled to death by some unknown persons, specifically an armed robbery gone bad.

Dr George Akuffo Dampare, the Regional Commander, assured the general public that much as such isolated but serious crimes are very disturbing, his command will continue to do its best to maintain law and keep every citizen safe.

“As investigations into the murder of the deceased continues, the police would like to appeal to members of the general public to volunteer any piece of information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators,” he requested.

He noted that they have confidence in the public’s sense of civic responsibility in active partnership to crime fighting.
