Kenpong Mourns JB Danquah

Former Asante Kotoko instrumental Board Member Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong) has expressed sympathy to the wife and family of murdered Abuakwa North MP, JB Danquah.

The deceased was a close friend to the businessman and describing his sudden death which occurred last Monday, he (Kenpong) said “This is indeed a shocker, he queried me jokingly why I didn’t inform him of my mother’s death the day before his death, that was the Monday afternoon.”

“It’s a double agony for me because we were very close. It’s my fervent prayer that God grants his family what it takes to stand throughout these challenging times.”

“I met JB in 1998 when I was one of the financial supporters of the club, he joined me and we both supported financially. I used to drive him to Kumasi when Kotoko was playing.”

“He is not a bad fellow, so I just can’t imagine how someone would kill him. He was one time a Board Chairman of my travel and tour company. His office is few metres away from my Airport Residential Area house, so we were like neighbours.”

“I have lost a real and perfect friend, may his soul rest in perfect peace.”
