President John Evans Atta Mills will broadcast to the nation on Monday, September 21, 2009. A statement issued in Accra on Thursday and signed by Mr Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications at the Office of the President, and copied to PEACEFM, said the day marked the 100th birthday of the Founder and First President of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It said the broadcast was scheduled at 0600 hours (6 a.m.) on Radio Ghana and Unique FM. Government has declared the day which also coincides with the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr a statutory public holiday.
