It Is My Turn To Be President - Dr. Edward Mahama

The 2016 flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Nasigire Mahama has said that – “this is my time to be president of Ghana, it’s my turn.”

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', Mr Mahama recalled losing some presidential elections to former President Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufour respectively but maintained he will never be a loser in the November 7 polls.

He however urged the electorates to vote the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) out of office in the upcoming presidential polls – according to him, the NDC has nothing good to offer Ghanaians in the future.

Dr. Edward Mahama also promised to create more jobs for the youth if voted into power – “the youth of 18, 19, and 20 up to 25 and above are the people I’m looking for to work with so that you can plan your life for 10 years from now. If you are a Trotro driver, you will be a transport owner and if you are a taxi driver, you will be controlling a fleet of taxis by the transformation of the ‘New Force’.”

He added Ghanaians shouldn’t waste their precious votes on both the ruling NDC and the opposition NPP since the two parties have failed them before.
