On Saturday February 20th the Paliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NPP for the Ledzokuku constituency, Dr. Okoe Boye, organized a free medical screening and consultation exercise at Neighborhood Centre, Teshie Maamli.

The objective of the exercise was to provide medical screening for the people, mostly who were either fishermen or ladies involved in some kind of fishing business.

Diseases like hypertension and Diabetes were checked and appropriate advice and in some cases medication given.

About 450 people in total were attended to by Dr Okoe Boye and his medical team.

Eye services were also conducted with most of the people seen being given reading glasses at zero cost.

Participants who were interviewed expressed their appreciation for Dr Okoe Boye and mentioned that this was the 3rd of such exercise the NPP Parliamentary candidate had carried out in six months, noting that should such a trend continue, the health of constituents would be greatly improved.

Dr Okoe Boye on his part thanked all people who came for their cooperation noting that the very fact that the exercise started at 9am and ended at 7pm indicates the tremendous level of patronage and appreciation
