The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has canceled the English Paper 1 of the ongoing Senior High School Examination written last Saturday, 12th September, 2009.
The English Language Paper 1, will now be written on Friday, October 16th, 2009, at 2pm.
In a statement copied to PEACEFM, WAEC said Mathematics (Core) 1&2 Papers penciled for Saturday, September, 19th, 2009, has been rescheduled to Saturday, 17th, October, 2009 at 9:00am and 2:00pm respectively.
WAEC expressed regret over the leakage as well as the cancellation and gave the assurance that they will put in place adequate security measures to avert future occurrences.
