Movie stars came out to shine on Hollywood's biggest night at the Academy Awards 2016.
Before host of the 88th Oscars Chris Rock mounted the stage to kick start awards ceremony, the competition got underway outside on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland.
The stars walked the red carpet outside of Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday February 28, 2016 but some looks were more successful than others.
Among the highlights on the red carpet were most contentious Actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Lady Gaga, Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, Ryan Seacrest and Ghana's own "Beast of No Nation" lead actor Abraham Atta among others.
