Nana Addo Made A Mockery of Himself...It Is NPP That Is In Crisis; Not Ghana!

Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah says the 2016 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo has made a mockery of himself by failing to tell Ghanaians about the crisis in his party.

According to him, Nana Akufo-Addo only engaged in political gimmicks in his frantic attempts to win the November 7 general elections.

Nana Addo on Monday presented what he called the "Real State of the Nation Address" after President John Mahama delivered his to Parliament last Thursday.

The 2016 NPP Flagbearer maintained that the Mahama-led NDC administration has lost touch with reality, failed to build trust and has simply taken the people for a ride mostly because naturally, Ghanaians are of a patient kind.

He pointed out that the country's "history is replete with examples of Ghanaians rising to the occasion when the need arises" but often-times "that happens when there is trust between the people and the leadership of the country".

To him, the country is in crisis but the current administration is reluctant to admit so.

But in a sharp riposte, Solomon Nkansah wondered why the NPP leader failed to comment on the crisis in his party which has left some key members suspended.

“How can Ghana be in crisis? It is only the NPP that is in crisis, Ghana cannot be in crisis. It saddened me why Nana Addo did not address that to the state,” he said in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'.

He also rubbished Nana Addo’s plans to develop Zongo Communities - Solomon Nkansah argues that the NDC party, who are true partners of Zongo development has already set the pace in touching the lives of the inhabitants of the various Zongo communities across-board.
