NDC Has Messed Up Economy With Their "Lazy And Corrupt Attitude" - Kweku Kwarteng

Member of Parliament for Obuasi West Kweku Kwarteng has urged the NDC to take the necessary action they believe is needed if they claim flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has no right to present the “Real State of the Nation Address”.

He said the government's lazy and corrupt attitude have messed up the entire economy.

He emphatically said, “What the flag bearer of the NPP did was the right thing to do as a good citizen and an incoming president of this country, because he wants his citizens to be very much abreast with the state of the nation in which they live in. The NDC should even be glad and thank the NPP for the good job done since they have provided them with the right facts and figures of the sectors of the economy.”

According to him, Akufo-Addo is not the first presidential candidate to deliver the “Real State of the Nation Address”; the NDC did the same thing when Former President John Agyekum Koffour in 2008 delivered the state of the nation address.

“The Mahama-led administration is the only government that have charged huge taxes and borrowed in excess both internally and externally than any other government in power has done in this country,” he noted in an interview with on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Ake Abia’ programme, Tuesday.

He added that “what shocks me more about this NDC governance is to go seeking support from IMF to balance the worst economy they have left citizens of this nation with after they have messed up the economy based on their lazy and corrupt attitude towards issues.”
