Nana Addo's Address Was Full Of "Hazardous Lies- Alhaji Dori

One key topic that has gotten tongues wagging in recent times has been the State of the Nation Address by President Mahama and a subsequent address by Nana Akufo Addo dubbed ‘The Real State of the Nation’.

Activists from the political parties in Ghana especially the two main parties have debated each other and managed to generate news content which has to do with which political leader fared well in delivering an address which painted the true picture of Ghana's economy to Ghanaians.

Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, a known National Democratic Congress member and an industrialist, has congratulated President Mahama for introducing various policies and social intervention programmes that has positively changed the lives of some 54,800 children in the country who used to study under trees.

On the health front, Alhaji Ibrahim Dori further applauded President Mahama for structuring the health sector to help increase our life expectancy which was a little over 40 years as at independence, to more than 14 years presently.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com, Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, however criticized Nana Akufo Addo for throwing dust into the eyes of Ghana when he mounted the stage at the Ghana College Of Physicians And Surgeons to give his "Real State of the Nation" address aimed at countering that of President John Mahama.

According to him, the NPP’s flagbearer ended up emitting "hazardous lies" which many find hard to believe compared to the evidence based address used by President Mahama on the floor of Parliament.

I find it hard to believe Nana Akufo Addo when he talks about the state of our economy. He didn’t show up with any evidence. All he did was to rant and rant from a script which was prepared by his press aide and not an economist.

“He only wanted to say something for the radio stations to pick for listeners to know he is still around the corner. But trust me, he made no impact.  He made more enemies than friends after he spoke. He emitted hazardous lies to us and that tells you he can’t manage Ghana’s economy”, Alhaji Dori said.
