Salinko To Entertain Students At Indomie Edufest 2016

Popular Kumawood comic actor Salinko, known in private life as Abraham Kofi Davis, is billed to entertain students at the upcoming Indomie Edufest 2016 edition scheduled to take place on March 5, 2016 at the El Wak Sports Stadium.

This year’s event will bring together students and teachers from both private and public schools in the Greater Accra Region.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest educative and entertainment programmes for pupils in Ghana, it features mainly pupils and teachers.

Under the theme ‘Developing Minds for Excellence’, Indomie Edufest 2016 is meant to inspire, motivate, challenge and invigorate the student’s educational and entertainment experience, as well as enable them to discover hidden potentials in their lives.

Mr Nathaniel Ekow Morrison, the Chief Executive of Global Multimedia Consult, organisers of the event, explained that Indomie Edufest is of three purposes: to inspire, encourage and invigorate the academic experience of basic school students.

He explained that Indomie Edufest is an academic-based programme that brings pupils and teachers from different schools together to compete in different subjects such as Science, Maths, Social Studies, Religious and Moral Education, Spelling, Poetry recitals, as well as Speech presentation.

Unlike the previous editions, he said, Edufest 2016 will blend with some sporting activities like soccer, athletics, table tennis and sack race.

Participating schools, he added, are expected to put up impressive performances to the delight of the many who would turn up for the event.

He promised lots of food, drinks, gifts, Indomie souvenirs and much more for participants.

Edufest 2016 is sponsored by Indomie Instant Noodles, Minimie Chinchin and Access Bank, and powered by Events Empire Ghana Limited.
