MCE Urges Youth To Be Law Abiding

Mr Sam Atukwei Quaye, the Ga West Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has advised the youth in the municipality to be law-abiding and ensure that peace prevailed during this year’s electioneering.

He asked the youth not to allow politicians to influence them with money to cause havoc which could jeopardise the peace the country enjoyed.

Mr Quaye gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Amasaman and called on politicians to tell the people the truth.

He said politicians must not just critise but should bring on board what they would do to benefit the ordinary Ghanaian “rather than saying things which would bring about animosity among the citizenry.”

“Ghana is the only country the people have and, therefore, politicians should avoid doing things that would compromise the peace as they embark on their political activities.

“I wish to plead with my colleague politicians to embark on politics with good ideals that can win them votes rather than insults and violence as they campaign for power,” Mr Quaye said.
