Stan's Heckling Of Reporter... Are We To Commend This? Baako Quizzes

Senior journalist, Kweku Baako Jnr has expressed strong disapproval of former Head of the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau, Stan Xoese Dogbe’s approach to prevent a Scottish journalists from asking President Mahama ‘gay’ questions.

He said the action by Stan Dogbe was “completely unnecessary” and must be condemned by all.

Stan Dogbe who is part of President Dr John Dramani Mahama’s official visit to Scotland, heckled a Scottish journalist who had wanted clarification from the president on issues of homosexuals’ rights in Ghana.

But the journalist's question was disallowed by Stan who shoved him away from the president and heavily checked his credentials.

Speaking on the issue on JOY FM’s News File programme on Saturday, the Editor-in -Chief of the New Crusading Guide Kweku Baako noted that Stan Dogbe must be called to order.

“Was the journalist a terrorist, are we supposed to commend that? My goodness …what are we talking about? That is not something to commend.

"The President has security, if it is security risks that is different and even that one it’s not even Stan who will be responsible for that, but if it was a journalist who was probing and was not doing it in any intimidating and violent manner, I don’t see why he should be stopped physically. The President is capable of answering any question,” he pointed out.
