No Man Can Use My Name In Matters I Am Not Privy To - Atebubu NDC Man Cries
Nimfam Christopher, one of the men mentioned to be in the middle of the recent takeover of the Atebubu-Amanteng Constituency office of the ruling National Demoocratic Congress (NDC) by angry party youth has dissociated himself from the action of the group.
A few days ago, a group calling itself Concerned NDC Youth of Atebubu Amanteng, said it had lost confidence in the constituency executives and thereby overrun the party's constituency office.
In a press release signed by Bashiru Tanko, a youth activist and sent to some media houses in the Brong Ahafo Region, the angry concerned NDC youth stated 10 reasons why they had lost confidence in the executives and revoked their positions.
The Constituency executives were alleged have also connived with disgruntled party members to burn the constituency voters’ register meant for exhibition.
The group went on to again accuse the executives of selling motorbikes meant for campaign in 2012 and misappropriated the proceeds.
In the said statement, they said owing to the misconduct of the current executives, they have appointed interim executives including Christopher Nimfan as Secretary.
However, Mr. Nimfam has issued a statement to distance himself from the actions of the group and warned against the use of his name for any purpose without permission.

With reference to the press release signed by Bashiru Tanko which was posted on peacefmonline yesterday, I want to humbly put forward the following:
There was no such meeting which sought to unseat the current NDC constituency executive of Atebubu-Amanten as was said in the release for I do not know some of the individual whose names have been mentioned
The NDC party has a channel of communication that we always air our grievances. This channel was not used by the brains behind the release which I am not a party to.
It is against my human rights. My name is my preserved right and no man can use my name in matters I am not privy to.
Therefore I (Nimfam Christopher) totally disassociate myself from that story and that the Atebubu-Amanteng NDC constituency secretary is Mr. Sulley.
I will once again render strong apologies to my Constituency Executives, Regional Executives and by extension the National Executives of NDC for the inconveniences caused by the press release: and that they should not treat the press release as authentic.
I strongly warn the perpetrators of this indecent act to stop using innocent people's name in their postings and press releases.
