Suspended NPP Chairman Paul Afoko has emphatically stated that he does not under any circumstance understand why some executive members of the party hate him.

“I know very well that they hate me without a reason, because all I do for the party is based on good grounds as I take no decision on my own but involve all executives.”

According to him, these same members made false allegations against him in view of preventing him from contesting and wining the chairmanship race on the ticket of the party to the extent of sharing monies to candidates.

“I never knew I was going to face many problems due the position won when I was threatened by some party executives at our congress grounds in Tamale,” he said on UTV.

He added that “right after the congress I told party members to stop criticizing each other of belonging to Kufuor or Nana Addo’s faction, but rather focus on working together with the new executives elected, our flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to enhance the party’s chance  of winning the November polls without stress,” he added.

Paul Afoko who refused to mention names of persons who keep sabotaging everything he does to come and defend themselves if they claim his talks are false.
