Stop Selling Our Lands Head Of Family Warns

The Head of Anona Kakabaa Royal Family of Apam in the Central Region, Abusuapanyani Kojo Yooyoo and his elders who are claiming ownership of the Gomoa Fetteh salt lands have warned investors and people interested in the Gomoa Fetteh salt lands not to deal with unscrupulous people and companies (palm springs city development and adwadifoadafo).

According to him, the Gomoa Fetteh Salt lands are currently under contention.

Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo averred that the said land which has been an issue between the Anona Kakabaa Royal Family and one S. M. Kweku Amanful is in court which the court is yet to pass judgement over the true owners of the said land.

Speaking in an interview, Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo articulated grave worry at the development and indicated that people must not consider buying land from anybody from the area until the final determination of the case by the Court.

Many people have been accused of selling off 2000 acres of the 3,644.50 acres belonging to the Anona Kakabaa Royal Family which was also vested in Fetteh Salt Limited.

Kojo Yooyoo explained that the registration of the said land was done on 1st June 1981 in the name of Mr. Samuel Mensah Dadzie of blessed memory as Fetteh Salt Limited, but some individuals along the line, forged the signatures to show that the land was rather registered in October 1981 with registration number, No. 530/81.

Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo said he staged a serious battle over the land to ensure that people do not take advantage of stealing the lands.

He told this paper that, even though it was evidently clear that, the land belongs to the Anona Kakabaa Royal Family, members of the family are law abiding and are ready to wait for the court to give its ruling over the land.

He thus advised the general public to be cautious of others who are parading themselves as owners of the land and thereby selling the lands.
