Ghanaians Must Stop The "Bull****" And Concerntrate On Football - Avram Grant

After recording a 3-1 win over the Mambas of Mozambique on Thursday, Black stars coach Avram Grant has told Ghanaians to concentrate on the football and not the "bull****" if the country wants to be great in football.

The Israeli was critical on his saying and went further to say Ghanaians must stop the unnecessary things that won’t help football in the country.

Grant has been under intense pressure recently in the news over his frequent travels in the name of monitoring players abroad and been criticized at the highest level by the Sports Minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye.

According to the Israeli coach, he has a long term plan for the Black Stars which when followed, the team will a force to reckon with in the world.

He hit back at some criticisms in a post match interview on Thursday.

“About target that I put, it is a long term target . . .not even one African team can achieve this target, but it is a process. If you follow that process, if we will do what we have to do.
If this nation will concentrate on football and not on the “bull*** yes, and just the football because there is a lot of passion, " he stated.

“I enjoy working with in Ghana, nice people but if we concentrate about the steps, the main steps we can reach higher and higher level . . we can see the team is improving all the time,” he said.

“This is a long term target, it is achievable but nothing can be achieved if we do the unnecessary things, we need to be one, we need to do first step, second step and all that,” he stressed.

"If people will not disturb and will try to help we can reach higher and higher scenes," he added.

Avram Grant is mandated by the Ghana Football Association to win the 2017 AFCON tournament.
