It Was A Good Friday @ Mirror Ball!

First it was Christmas and now Easter.  More than a sheer coincidence, the last Friday of the month happened to also fall on Good Friday and the March ending Mirror Ball lived up to its billing as the party of the first quarter.

While most of the city filled the tabernacles, temples and international branches of the many churches that line the city’s streets, there was another “All night” congregation assembled upstairs in the SOHO restaurant of the Marina Mall worshiping the God of creation in a another mode.

Singing the joyous hymns of the old school charts one could only conclude that the one GOD we all serve is indeed ubiquitous and is omnipresent.

There is no denying this is indeed the same God whose handiwork through divine subjects had conjured up the greatest tunes to ever be heard by pressing the play button.

Nothing says premium party like the roar of Ferrari and Bentley engines in the parking lot while fine gentlemen usher elegant ladies up the red carpet for a rewarding experience.

Unlike the challenging ascent to the top of the Kwahu mountains for many this weekend, Accra’s initiated socialites knew to just appear fresh and crisp in the blue denims and white tops and with the easy press of the first floor button, an elevator would quickly whisk and transform you to the next floor with the doors sliding open to reveal what the sounds within the lift had hinted along on the way up.

An event with an unrivalled track record and status welcomed you into a most premium gathering like none this land has probably ever seen.

Very appropriately sponsors – the House of Mumm served their chilled champagne to early birds and the AC kept the dance floor fans composed in addition to the coolest tunes courtesy of DJ Blow which engulfed the premises.

The popular “Afrochique” theme beckons for the next event to be celebrated on April 29th with its colourful display of Africa’s finest fabrics, motifs, patterns and prints.  The Mirror Ball is brought to you by Tag Team and SOHO restaurant. It is sponsored by Mumm Champagne and supported by Starr 103.5fm.
