Strand hints at possible exit from Medeama

Medeama SC Coach Tom Strand has drawn a clear hint over a possible exit from the Club after missing out in the team’s 0-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

The Swede was not on the bench when his side suffered an away loss in their outstanding League fixture on Wednesday afternoon forcing technical director Augustine Adotey to take charge of the team.

Strand for the past weeks have been reported to be holding secret talks with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

The 34-year-old has also been reported to have issued in his resignation letter to the Club (Medeama).

His latest decision not to the bench without the notice of the Club has fueled his move away from the Takwa-based side.

The affable football tactician who still has a running contract with the Mauves has been able to win one FA Cup trophy and Super Cup title since joining the Club from Bechem United.

He also helped the Club to seal qualification to the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
