A man convicted March 18 of stalking singer Ashanti has been sentenced to jail time.

Devar Hurd, 37, was sentenced to between 16 months and four years in prison after being found guilty of felony 2nd degree stalking by a New York jury.

Hurd however may not serve any more time behind bars though since he has already spent 32 months behind bars,TMZ reported Thursday, after being held without bond since 2013 after he violated a restraining order by taking a picture with Ashanti's unknowing sister.
