Police Officer Knocked Down after �Jumping red Light�
A Police officer riding on an official motorbike was knocked down by a car on Saturday afternoon, after he reportedly jumped the red light at the Expo 67 Junction in Accra.
Eyewitnesses say the officer, who was moving from the Mamobi Traffic Light area, didn’t stop when the traffic lights turned red.
In the process, he crashed with a Pontiac Vibe that was moving towards the main road from the Expo 67 Junction.
The Police officer was hurriedly rushed to the hospital to receive treatment.
Some passersby however blamed the driver for the accident. According to the police officer, he did not jump the red light. He explained that he had already moved before it turned red.
