NPP Communicator, Nana Boakye says Adakabre Frimpong Manso, Radio Show Host on Neat FM, is peddling lies about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer Nana Addo.

According to him, Adakabre and members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) have decided to tarnish the personality of Nana Addo.

Following the NPP's boycott of the political programmes on Okay FM and Neat FM, Adakabre granted an interview on Joy FM accusing the NPP Flagbearer of threatening and abusing him.

“Nana Addo abused and threatened me, I was so sad and scared but I kept quiet because I didn’t want to be the fall guy through which something happens and they would say it is because of Adakabre so I kept quiet. I was afraid because, I was told to the face that you will be killed at a specific date, I have all the evidence, I can substantiate them . . .I have everything on my phone, I have kept the phones and I would be willing to show it to anybody who wants to see them," he is quoted as saying.

Addressing Adakabre's comments on Peace FM's 'kokrokoo', Nana Boakye recounted that Adakabre peddled similar falsehood about Nana Addo when he interviewed a certain guy about Nana Addo urinating on a Mosque.

He noted that that report was a "palpable falsehood" and engineered by the Radio Host, and so it was not surprising to him that he would level such allegations against the Nana Addo.

He however held strongly that "no amount of lies. No amount of vilification. No amount of insult can work against him.”
