Medeama SC arrive in Sudan for Al Ahly Shendi clash

Medeama SC has arrived in Sudan ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup tie with Al Ahly Shendi.

The team touched down in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum on Thursday morning around 3am to continue their preparations for the game on Sunday.

Coach Tom Strand and his boys will be hoping to secure a good result in the first leg to make their return fixture an easy task.

Medeama were able to reach the second round after eliminating Libyan Club Ittihad Tripoli on a 2-1 aggregate score.

The MTN FA Cup Champions will be hoping to prevent any setback having suffered elimination at the same stage three years ago when they lost to Congolese side AC Leopards on penalties.

Sunday’s game kicks off at exactly 5pm Ghana time.
