David Duncan Finally Agrees To Step Aside As Kotoko Coach

David Duncan has finally agreed to step aside as head coach of Asante Kotoko, according to reports in the media.

Kotoko and Duncan have been jousting for the past four days after the latter was asked to step aside as head coach of the side following their last defeat in the Ghana Premier League to Aduana Stars.

The Porcupine Warriors wants Duncan to abrogate his duties temporarily after the team’s poor run in the League, a decision which raised massive misunderstanding between the coach and management of the Club.

Duncan had previously refused to step aside as demanded by his employers.

The coach after a meeting with the life patron of the Club Otumfuo Osei Tutu has finally agreed to momentarily step aside from his duties.

The former Free State Stars manager will not be in the dugouts when Kotoko take on Liberty Professionals in match-day of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Assistant coach Michael Osei has been mandated to take charge of the side until further notice.
