Abu Jinapor says the erstwhile Kufour government's achievements in eight years are twenty (20) times better than what ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has achieved under the leadership of President John Mahama and the late President Atta Mills.

According to the NPP activist, the Mills/Mahama government legacies combined can never outstrip the good deeds of Ex-President Kufour during his regime.

He believed that the NDC are setting an agenda to wipe out President Kufour's legacy and so would not accept his government's interventions to develop the economy, "whether in the Volta Region, Ashanti Region, wherever in Ghana. That debate we can have it."

“In terms of development from all facets of our national life, Ex-President Kufour’s eight years from 2001 to 2008 compared to President Mills/President Mahama NDC’s eight years, President Kufour achieved 20 times than they have done."

Abu Jinapor urged the leadership and members of the New Patriotic Party, on Peace FM's political programme 'Kokrokoo' to wake up and defend President Kufour or else "another 4 years of NDC (12 years in office) rule, by the time we say Jack; President Kufour’s legacy has been wiped away.”
