Following the leakage of about 47 sex videos involving 22- year-old Daniel Ofosu, aka Ahotoba, aka Junior, with 42 women, including married ones, in Asokore, a suburb of Koforidua in the Eastern Region, some irate youth in the community have issued a 2-week ultimatum to the Effiduase Police Command, to as a matter of urgency, intensify the hunt and arrest of the porn star.
“What he has done is a disgrace, it is very criminal and as the youth of this land we condemn it. How on earth must you do this? We know there is no way that guy can come back to this town, but we still want justice for our women. We are just giving the police two weeks to arrest him. Wherever he is they should go find him, else we will get onto the streets ourselves and when we get him, we will take the law into our own hands”, the aggrieved youth on conditions of anonymity cautioned.
In an interview, they further called on the Ministry of Gender and Social Protection and all stakeholders in the fight for human rights to step into the matter and make sure justice is delivered.
Meanwhile, chiefs and elders in the area are set to meet to decide the fate of the new ‘porn star’, the New Crusading GUIDE has gathered.
Nana Kwabena Asamoah, the Abreasehene of Asokore, in an interview believes the scandal had put the town’s hard earned reputation into disrepute. Therefore, the traditional authorities would meet soon for a treasury meeting, where they would as well discuss the issue and find appropriate punishment for the culprit.
“Omanhene has travelled, when he comes we (chiefs and elders) will meet for a treasury discussion, then we will take the opportunity to discuss the scandal”, he noted
