Bishop Daniel Obinim, Leader and Founder of International God’s Way Church has explained that he threw down the gauntlet to Okomfo Yaw Appiah because the latter's false accusations against him [Obinim], greatly dwindled membership attendance to religious services.

According to him, human beings are easily gullible and so the lies told by Okomfo Yaw Appiah convinced many of his congregants to stop attending church service, especially when he went silent over the allegations.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with hostess Yaa Konama on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma Morning Show, Bishop Daniel Obinim revealed that his Father Jesus has handed over the life of Okomfo Yaw Appiah into his hands for disgracing his name Jesus and undermining his powers.

He added that the attendance of church service started sinking immediately after Okomfo Yaw Appiah granted interviews in the media that he [Okomfo] gave powers to him [Obinim] and thus he, the Fetish Priest, is the spiritual father of Bishop Daniel Obinim.

Wondering about the cause of the sudden low turnout in church service, Bishop Obinim said he spoke to his father Jesus, complaining and asking for forgiveness if he has offended him (Jesus) in any way which has affected church attendance but Jesus told him it was due to the comment of Okomfo Yaw Appiah in the media.

He however indicated that Jesus, his Spiritual Father gave him the permission to challenge Okomfo Yaw Appiah in public as he [Jesus] has given the life of the Okomfo Appiah into his hands to deal with him.

He indicated that after coming out to publicly challenge Okomfo Appiah, the members have returned to his place of worship, swelling church attendance.
