Police proceeded to the scene but upon seeing the police, the suspects attempted to escape but with the assistance of residents living at the military barracks, the two were apprehended by the police.

The four ladies bags they had snatched from their victims were found on them (suspects).

Later, a lady followed up to identify her bag and to report that she was part of those attacked by the suspects.

The rest of the bags contained mobile phones, monies and personal belongings.

The suspects were later handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department for further investigations.
