I Wont Allow Ade Coker To Bus People To Register - Ursula Owusu Warns

Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West constituency on the ticket of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ursula Owusu Ekufful has cautioned the ruling NDC Greater Accra Regional Executives, especially Ade Coker to desist from the mindset of busing people to register in her Constituency.

According to her, the NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman has vowed to unseat her from the Ablekuma West Constituency seat and therefore has decided to use the limited registration exercise to bus more people to her constituency to register in order to vote her out in the November 7 polls.

In an interview on Okay Fm’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show to debunk an allegation that she has bused people to register in Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu mentioned that she has no reason to bus people to register in her constituency because the last election saw 11,000 votes difference, making her a leading contender in the upcoming parliamentary election.

“The mindset of the NDC is that they will bus people to register in my constituency and we have seen their moves which is why they are agitated in this limited registration. I have not bused any group of people to register in my constituency; in fact I don’t have any reason to bus people to register, because in the last election the margin was about 11,000 votes difference,” she averred.

She alleged that the NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman in a secret meeting with some of his members charged them to ensure the removal of the NPP MP from the Ablekuma West seat as the constituency is his residence.

Ursula Owusu Ekuful  however reminded the NDC to expect to see NPP maximize its votes in the Ablekuma West constituency due to her good job, but insisted “I will not allow NDC to bus people to register in my constituency.”
