Reject Govts Incompetence Konadu Rawlings Tells Ghanaians

The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP) has charged Ghanaians not to be silent on the incompetence of government.

“…It is our patriotic duty as citizens of Ghana not to make room for government complacency at all. And we should not make room for government incompetence -We should not.” the former First Lady told party faithfuls on Saturday at the Trade Fair Centre, La  Accra.

She intimated that for the Ghanaian populace to gloss over the government’s incompetence will send a wrong signal to them[government] that they’re on the right path vis-à-vis the current state of the economy.

Nana Konadu said development is well noticed where there is “visible progress and improvement in our lives”.

The wife of ex-President John Jerry Rawlings was elected as leader of the NDP by popular acclamation at the party’s 2nd National Delegates Conference held in Accra.

The event saw the retention of the National Executives who will steer the party’s affairs for the next four years.
