(Photos) Quarshie Adonoo Equips NDC With Materials Needed To Win Ayawaso Central Seat

As the National Democratic Congress prepares to knock out political opponents and maximize their seats in parliament, one constituency the party is aiming to bag is the Ayawaso Central seat.

To put the plan to fruition, the Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Victor Quarshie Adonoo, has donated assorted items to the party’s parliamentary candidate in the constituency, William Affum Ani-agyei, to assist him in his 2016 campaign.

Mr. Victor Quarshie Adonoo presented a Ford Ranger 4x4 pick-up, together with over 200 campaign t-shirts and 1000 posters to Mr.  William Affum Ani-agyei.

Since 1996, the NPP has won the Ayawaso Central and repeated the same feat in the last parliamentary election that was held in 2012.

In 2008, the NPP’s Sheikh Ibrahim Cudjoe Quaye polled 30,915 representing 49.1% to beat the NDC’s Kwasi Ofei Agyemang who polled 30,068 representing 47.7%.

Then in 2012, the NPP’s Henry Quartey also polled 33,074 to beat the NDC’s William Affum Ani-agyei who managed 32,439 votes.

But looking at the NDC’s performance in the area over the period, it would not be farfetched to state that their immediate goal is to improve on the figures they raked in last time.
