Forever In Our Hearts!...Despite Grp Observes One Year Anniv. Of K. Brenya's Death

Class, Grace, Dignity, Respect; the list of accolades was long and the tributes that poured in nonetheless. But one of the words oft-repeated to describe him was humility.

Indeed, he was modesty-personified.

That was Kwasi Brenya, General Manager of the Despite Group of Companies, whose unfortunate demise exactly a year ago today, at the 37 Military Hospital, stunned the nation and rocked the very foundation of the Despite media conglomerate  (PeaceFM, OkayFM, NeatFM, HelloFM, UTV, Peacefmonline.com).

A year on and it still feels like yesterday. Truly, there is a link that death cannot sever!

And as management and staff of these noble media houses and other institutions under the Despite umbrella - including Best Point Savings and Loans, Best Assurance Company, Neat Foods and Special Investments – observe one year of your untimely death, we acknowledge that earth has one gentle soul less, but Heaven one angel more.

In our hearts you will always stay, Mr Brenya; loved and remembered every day. Time may pass and fade away, but memories of you will always stay.

In God’s care we know you rest above, GM, and in our hearts you rest with love. Words are few, thoughts are deep, memories of you we will always keep, "bra Kwasi".

Together we join John Ellerton in singing

Now the laborer's task is o'er...”.

...Now the battle day is past; Now upon the farther shore Lands the voyager at last. Earth to earth, and dust to dust, calmly now the words we say; left behind, we wait in trust for the resurrection-day. Father, in thy gracious keeping leave we now thy servant [Kwasi Brenya] sleeping,

We cannot help but to also sing-along to the SECOND STANZA of Methodist HYMN 52 (John Wesley)

Our friend is gone before
To that celestial shore;
He hath left his mates behind,
He hath all the storms outrode;
Found the rest we toil to find,
Landed in the arms of God.

You are sorely missed Kwasi Brenya…RIP!
