Buddhist Monks were Influential in Leicesters title triumph

Manager of Daniel Amartey, Yusif Alhasan Chibsah, believes Leicester City winning the English Premier League was due to hard work and blessing from the monks who were invited by Leicester chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who is a unique and true believer in the power of karma.

The powerful monks from Bangkok led by Abbott Phra Prommangkalach are credited for the Foxes' surprising title tilt.

The Buddhist monks have spent the past three years at the King Power Stadium in order to invoke lucky charms to the players to add divine element to the foxes play.

But Yusif Chibsah revealed   Leicester City were very determined throughout the season but believes the   Bangkok Buddhist were influential in guiding the mighty foxes spiritually in winning the Premier League title.

“The recovery rates of the Leicester players are very quick when Amartey signed the contract I was there for four days. The owner of the club is from Thailand and they have ancient monks who pray for team I believe it was a factor in winning the Premier League. In every game the monks were around they were three, the team worked very hard and they combined with spiritual prayers,” Yusif Alhasan Chibsah exclusively told Kumasi –based FOX FM

“Leicester City secret is dedication and discipline, the technical team has combined scientific methods together with training they ensure the players have enough recovery exercise that will keep them away from muscle injuries, “he added
