Fifa praises Satellites' dance

The celebratory dance of the Black Satellites at the World Youth Championship in Egypt has drawn praise from the games governing body, Fifa. The excellent choreography from Ghanas U-20 team was expertly displayed on Tuesday night as they brushed aside England 4-0. The Ghanaians advanced to the second phase of the competition with the comprehensive win over the Europeans at the World Youth Championship. Even though the West Africans display was thoroughly well-received by Fifa, their dance was also acknowledged as one of the Memorable Moments during the game. Immediately after the game in Egypt, an article titled Come Dancing appeared on Fifas website hailing the Satellites for the way they celebrated their goals. It read: During their demolition job on England, Ghana not only showed scintillating skill on the ball, but also real flair and rhythm when it came to celebrating their goals. After Dominic Adiyiah's opener, the scorer and his team-mates gathered by the corner flag and danced for joy, earning full marks for imaginative choreography and coordination. Ghanaian national teams and clubs are known for celebrating their goals with passion.
