Supreme Court Restores Nii Okaijas Chieftaincy Titles

The latest court judgments which restored the Chieftaincy titles of Nii Okaija III as Gbese Mantse and Adonten of the Ga State have been clandestinely removed from the web pages of the Today newspaper and replaced with an old and spent story of Thomas Okine parading as Nii Ayi Bonte.

Readers will recall that His Lordship Kwabena Asuma-Adu in Suit No. BMSC 532/2015 dated 22nd April 2015, overturned the fraudulent default judgment given by the illegally-reconstituted Ga Traditional Council which declared Thomas Okine as Gbese Mantse.

Nii Okaija III was NOT invited to the hearing and that was dishonest to the core.

Nii Okaija III also appealed to the Supreme Court, on another matter, in Civil Motion J5/45/2015 and on the 9th February 2016 the Supreme Court – the highest court of the land – restored Nii Okaija’s title as the Adonten of the Ga State.

Therefore as at now Nii Okaija III is the Gbese Mantse and Adonten of the Ga State who hails from a Royal House; was legitimately enstooled onto a vacant stool without any violence and in succession to Nii Ayitey Agbofu II.

On the other hand, (1) Thomas Okine parading as Nii Ayi Bonte does NOT hail from any of the three Royal Houses of Gbese.

(2)Thomas Okine is under a Restraining Order not to hold himself as Gbese Mantse in Suit No. GTC/J6/2008 dated 8/8/2008. He had thirty (30) days to appeal but instead, his Lawyer Adumoa Bossman wrote that the Order was “null and void” even though he has no power to do so.

(3) Thomas Okine’s Chieftaincy Declaration Forms 1A and 1B (CD Forms 1A & 1B) were NEVER RESEARCHED as Chieftaincy Rules and Regulations demand; therefore his name was inserted into the National Register by fraudulent means.

It is indeed no surprise that they have removed Nii Okaija’s current court decisions from the web. When their first Mandamus Order was rejected by Judge Ofori Atta because “Nii Okaija III had not been destooled or died or ousted from Office as Gbese Mantse, they twisted it on the web as if Thomas Okine had rather won! Their act was reported to the police and the Judiciary with copies for the records.

This kind of dishonesty is therefore their hallmark. The truth is that Nii Okaija III is the Gbese Mantse and Adonten of the Ga State as confirmed by the honourable courts.
