Monies Squandered By Kufours Administration Prevented NDC From Completing Unfinished Projects?

Member of Parliament (MP) for La Dadekotopon Constituency in the Greater Accra, Nii Amasah Namoale has said that his government could not continue the unfinished projects started by Ex-President John Kufuor because the NPP left no money to finance the project.

He said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during their term of office intentionally slowed down the pace at which to complete their already started projects thinking that it would convince Ghanaians to retain them in power to complete their unfinished projects.

“My better government would have continued NPP’s unfinished projects if the finances allocated for such projects were left in their coffers intact without being misused by the then government as they did, leaving the projects unattended to,” he said.

According to him, the luxurious vehicles being used by most National Democratic Congress (NDC) leaders were not vehicles bought for them by this current government but were one’s ordered  for some NPP MP’s in Kufour’s administration, therefore their lack to take over the usage of the vehicles when the NDC was voted into power.

Touching on the strike action by the JUSSAG he told UTV's Addekye Nsroma that “I know the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG) would not in any way want to do politics with their grievances made, hence authorities involved in this tale with government should as early as possible find a compromised solution to the issue.”

JUSSAG embarked on an industrial strike few days ago citing government’s failure to implement a new salary structure approved by the Judicial Council many months ago.
