Guilin Pharmaceutical Ghana Ltd as part of supporting the fight against Malaria has produced a 4 1/2 minutes animation video documentary aimed at educating Ghanaians especially children on the treatment and prevention of Malaria.

The Managing Director of Guilin Pharmaceutical, Ghana Ltd, Mr.Yafeng Wang who launched the video animation stated that they used the cartoons as an easy way of capturing the attention of children and helping them to learn and know how to treat and prevent malaria in their communities .

Mr. Cyrus A. Baidoo, the Sales & Marketing Manager of the company also revealed that several copies of the animated videos will be distributed to primary schools across the country.

Speaking at the launch, the Deputy Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Victor Bampoe lauded the initiative by Guilin Pharmaceutical and called on other organization to emulate their gesture.

According to him, the distribution of the Long ‘Lasting Insecticide Nets’ will help improve on school attendance – “When children remain free of malaria, their school attendance improves and learning capabilities are sustained rendering the country to be richer by having a pool of healthy children growing up to become healthy and productive”
