Presenter Of Mathematics Programme On TV Passes On
The death of Mr Emmanuel Yartey Annan, a presenter of mathematics programme on GTV and Metro TV, has been reported in Accra.
The late Annan, 82, died on May 22.
He was a retired mathematician, who held the television mathematics topic under the Presidential Initiative to encourage the learning of mathematics and science in schools.
The late Annan was an old student of the Odorgonor Secondary School in Accra, the Wesley College in Kumasi and the University of Cape Coast.
After his university education, he started his teaching career at the Hansen Road Methodist Boys’ School, posted to the Wesley Grammar Secondary School both in Accra, Tema Secondary School and later Saint Thomas Aquinas Secondary School.
The deceased left behind a wife Mrs Theresa Naa Dodua Annan and four children.
