Mother, BECE Candidate And Sister Burnt To Death At Santase (AUDIO REPORT)
A mother and her two children have been killed after the house they were sleeping in was razed by fire.
The unfortunate incident occurred at Santase, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region in the early hours of Friday.
The cause of the incident is still unclear but eyewitnesses say the fire started from the kitchen at about 1:30am on Friday morning.
According to Peace FM's correspondent in Kumasi, Sampson K. Nyamekye, cause of the fire is not yet known even though neighbours are pointing accusing fingers at a group of people who threatened to burn down the house.
This happens to be the second devastating fire outbreak in the Ashanti Region after a similar incident at Asante Mampong which claimed six lives last two weeks.
