Nana Addo Winning 2016 Election Is Clear, But . . . - NPP Reg. Secretary

Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adjei Sowah who believes his Presidential Candidate is winning this year’s elections said, his party is not taking the Presidential race for granted.

“From 2008, 2012 and now 2016, Nana Akufo-Addo has been contesting the Presidential election and it is believed that for the third time in a row he can win the Presidential race easily, but we are not taking it for granted, we are working hard to secure victory for Ghanaians from the NDC,” he recounted.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Mr. Adjei Sowah revealed the strategy of the NPP to be developing personal relationship with Ghanaians in various groupings as the party has realised that the big rallies are not giving them the results they want.

He indicated that it is this personal relationship concept which sent Nana Akufo-Addo to some constituencies in the Greater Accra Region to meet some organised groups to discuss their problems and find lasting solution when it is within their means, but assured the various groups those problems he cannot solve in opposition.

Delving into Nana Akufo-Addo’s key promise to the Ghanaian youth, Adjei Sowah averred that the NPP Presidential candidate is assuring the hard working Ghanaians jobs as most of the organised groups they encounter are youth without employment.

He hinted that 48 percent of Ghanaian youth are unemployed; asserting that this alarming information is a security threat in Ghana that John Mahama should show concern.

“If the NDC is comparing road construction, they don’t come near the NPP record but the issue at stake is that Ghanaians are actually hungry and businesses are slow in Accra and Ghana at large.

“Ghanaians are crying that they are tired of the hardship inflicted on them. The people of Ga communities in Accra have vouched to change their pattern of voting for the NDC because they have been deceived for too long,” he alleged.
