Mother And Child Perish In Another Boat Disaster On Volta Lake
A mother and her child are feared dead in another boat accident on the Volta Lake.
The two were part of four passengers on board a boat which was making its way to Kajeji.
A survivor, Ebenezer told Adom News that a search is still underway to find the body of the mother.
“I know how to swim that is why I swam to safety but the mother and the child couldn’t…the child’s body has been found but that of the mother is yet to be discovered…,” he said.
Several lives have been lost in recent boat accidents on the lake.
