The NPP youth and party in Suhum say that it has come to their knowledge that the MCE for Suhum who also doubles as the NDC parliamentary candidate has been using vehicles belonging to the Suhum Municipal Assembly for her campaign activities.
They say that most of the time, her personal assistant have been driving around town with the vehicle of the assembly to the chagrin of the assembly drivers.
Her campaign stickers are also occasionally used to brand to the cars which belong to the assembly (i.e. government and people of Ghana) as evidenced in the attached picture.
A press release signed by Ernest Lartey, Constituency Secretary said that they sometimes mount horns/megaphones on the vehicle and use it for dawn broadcast.
“All this goes on without any word from the coordinating director at the assembly or the various people in charge who are supposed to prevent such occurrences.
“All this also happens when staff at the assembly has been crying out their activities in the Suhum Constituency,” the release said.
