Our Campaign Strategy Will Be Based On Mahamas Projects And NPPs Infighting - Kofi Adams Reveals

National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has disclosed what the 2016 campaign strategy of his party will be based on to convince Ghanaians to retain President John Dramani Mahama at the Presidency.

According to him, the survey which favours the opposition NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo- Addo as the possible winner of the 2016 upcoming General Election is the usual lip-service which is not new to the NDC so far as election surveys are concerned.

Report says the survey which has been kept under wraps was compiled in March this year – and doubts the NDC chances of winning the upcoming election.

The survey was carried out in all the 10 regions of the country and at the end of the exercise, the report indicated that the NPP’s Flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is ahead of his NDC contender.

Nana Akufo-Addo is likely to emerge winner of the 2016 general election, scoring 51.85% of the polls, followed by President John Dramani Mahama with 41.52%.

But Kofi Adams on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show posited that this election survey predicting win for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will not be the reality in 2016 elections because Ghanaians are sound enough to vote to see development in their lives.

“Any sound Ghanaian voter votes to see development in their lives and so if NDC will not use ‘all-die-be-die’ mantra and use acid on our members as campaign strategy to overturn this supposed survey, we will use development projects to convince Ghanaians to vote for us,” he ridiculed.

Outlining the NDC’s campaign strategy for the 2016 elections, Kofi Adams said “we will also use the NPP’s infighting which they have refused to condemn to campaign against them and we will point out the development projects of President Mahama to Ghanaians in every region we visit for campaign.”

The former Deputy General Secretary of the ruling NDC maintained that the party is going to make it loud to Ghanaians the numerous development projects of President John Mahama as the NPP has always lied that the President has done nothing.
