Mahama Is Clueless And Visionless President NPP MP

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Denkyira West, Ben Aryeh has described President John Dramani Mahama as a ‘clueless’ and visionless’ leader.

Ben Aryeh speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Tuesday said the President’s lack of vision and purpose for Ghana is the reason why the country has seen little progress under his leadership.

“If it is about building schools, roads and others, everyone can do it, and that is management but a leader does more than that, he thinks outside the box like Kufour did…what unique thing can the NDC boast of in this 8 years”, he said.

The NPP MP said the party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo unlike President Mahama also thinks outside the box and that is the reason why he proposes ideas which President Mahama and the NDC fails to understand.

Such ideas, he said include the strategy to develop the north through the Northern Development Fund (NDF) and the decision to introduce Free Senior High School (SHS).

“Nana Addo talked about free SHS, Mahama said it was impossible but even when Nana did not win power, they are implementing it shabbily…development of North too, they said it was impossible but turned 360 degrees for SADA.

“But unfortunately, because he didn’t have a clue about it, SADA has become a vehicle for siphoning Ghana’s money…,” he said.

According to him, the NDC unlike the NPP always doubts the innovations brought on board by Nana Addo because they fail to think outside the box.

“The Greatest challenge of man is not his height, or whatever, but is to place limitation on yourself and that is the style of the NDC…they never think of innovations but when you bring one, they would claim you can’t implement it,” he added.

And one of such policies to transform Ghana, he added, is the programme to establish a factory in each district.

“Ghana needs incorruptible leaders whom contractors cannot bribe with second hand vehicle which would go missing in the name of adding it to Presidential pool,” he said.
