Depending on its vision to become a leading player in healthcare service delivery in Ghana, the management of the Trust Hospital which recently hived off from its mother company SSNIT has launched a new website for easy access to healthcare service.
According to the General Manager of the Trust Hospital, Dr. Darius Osei, the redesign of the website is to use simple modern technology means in healthcare communication insofar as there is a need for their client to get to know the hospital better and experience the easiest way to access services.
Dr. Darius Osei, addressing the media at the launch of the new website mentioned that the Trust Hospital being in operation for over 20 years, saw the need to provide a new website for their clients to take the opportunity and engage them using any communication device at home, at work and on the go, to access any information on the website.
“Recognizing the need for our client to get to know us better and experience the easiest way to access our services, we decided to redesign our website using simple yet engaging modern technology in healthcare communication”, he indicated.
“We are doing this hoping that our clients will take the opportunity and engage us using any communication device at home, at work or on the go, to access any information on the website,” he added.
“Being in operation for over 20 years, our clients are spread all over the Capital due to intercity migration. In order for us to serve our entire clientele base, we instituted the Satellite Clinics to provide the same high quality health care service to those who may not be able to commute to heart of the city for care. This has improved our quality of work and it has paid off at the end of the day,” he stressed.
The General Manager of the Trust Hospital also indicated that the new website is simple, has a welcoming look and feel and is user-friendly with the latest techniques and technology.
He reiterated that the website is all been designed to make their patients’ lives smoother while also offering interesting, engaging information with straightforward navigation.
To him, the website also will serve as a source for the latest hospital news such as new services, clinics, events, expansions and facility upgrades, new service coming to any of their satellite clinics, and available job opportunities.
Additionally, Dr. Darius Osei posited that clients have access to a myriad of tools to make their interactions with Hospital’s staff and facilities easy as the online appointment Portal is a one-stop destination for all appointment in any of the clinics which has to do with Physician Specialist, Gynecologist, Well woman, Pediatrician and others.
“For ease of navigation, we have grouped all our services into alphabetical order to help clients locate the clinic or service they want to access. Information about all our nine facilities can also be accessed on the website,” he revealed.
“In this 21st century, queuing to see a doctor is a thing of the past. We have placed a lot of emphasis on our appointment portal. Clients who want to see any specialist do not have to come all the way to the hospital to book an appointment. You need any communication device and access to Internet, which is almost accessible by most people in Ghana presently,” he averred.
