MP Lauds Peace FM's Nana Yaa Konadu For Her 'Talk Life' Initiative

The Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency, Hon Frank Annoh-Dompreh has lauded radio hostess of 'Won Mpom Te Sen' and 'Wo Haw Ne Sen' on Peace Fm 104.3, Nana Yaa Konadu for organising an outreach project dubbed 'Talk Life' for women.

As residents of Nsawam-Adoagyiri got their turn to enjoy the free healthcare education and lifestyle from a team of specialists in breast cancer, marriage and healthy eating, the MP for the Constituency seized the moment to caution residents to be very cautious of their health status.

Hon Annoh-Dompreh applauding Nana Yaa Konadu for thinking of women empowerment in the country advised that the women in Nsawam-Adoagyiri not to wait till they are down with sickness before visiting the hospital; thus they should make it part of their routine to visit health centres regularly.

He made this remarks when 'Talk Life' With Nana Yaa Konadu held an opene discussion on women needs and also a health screening exercise for the women in Nsawam with the help of ‘Save Your Liver Foundation and Breast Care International'.

Speaking at the outreach project, ADR Coordinator, Mr. Alex Nartey also pointed out to the gathering on marital issues that there is no difference between court marriage and customary marriage with regards to property sharing as there is Customary Law in the country which permits customary marriage to be legal.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com for the next stop of 'Talk Life' With Nana Yaa Konadu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Yaa Konadu revealed that the residents of Nankese in the Eastern Region is the next community to benefit from the outreach project set out to help women.
