South Africa Dares Ghana

The South African Under 20 team has hinted that they are going to kick the Black Satellites out of the ongoing Under 20 World Cup Finals in Egypt later today. The two sides are meeting for the third time this year after South Africa lost 3-4 to the Satellites in a semi-final match at the African Youth championship in Rwanda. The South Africans also beat the Ghanaian squad 5-3 in Accra in an international friendly. The Satellite team at that time featured a locally based side that included Gladson Awako, Ghandi Kassenu, goalkeeper, Robert Dabuo and Daniel Addo. Ghana has been impressive in the competition so far but the South Africans are optimistic that they can defeat the Ghanaians. The Amajitas snatched a 2-0 win over Honduras in Group F to qualify to the knockout stage as one the best third placed teams of the competition. After struggling to make it to the round 16, the Amajitas are leaving no stone unturned in their game against the Satellites. Coach Sellas Tetteh has expressed his intention of using a strong squad against South Africa, stressing. We know them very well and we are not going to underestimate them, but it is not going to be an easy encounter. Players expected to start for Ghana include goalkeeper, Daniel Adjei, Daniel Addo, Samuel Inkoom, David Addy and Jonathan Mensah, Gladson Awako, who is likely to replace Rabiu, skipper, Dede Ayew, Opoku Agyeman and Agyemang Badu, Ransford Osei and Dominic Adiyiah.
